my spouse's family
The Hazzards belong to my husband paternal line. They had a farm
in
the Parish of Lancaster between Hanson Brook and the West Branch
of the
Musquash. According to a 19th century Henry Hazzard's neighbours
were:
Mrs Karr in the west; Clinch in the south, Mrs Cassidy in the south east;
William Shephard to the east; and crown land to the north. The highway
( NB #1 ) going from Saint John to St. Stephen now cuts through this area.
